Your jock will be rocked with the first DS entry in Red Octane’s MUSIC series for guitar gods. This portable version features the same rhythm-based “play to the music” gameplay of console game, and will even have its own peripheral to get the done: Red Octane has developed what it’s calling the Guitar Grip to give players the ability to finger chords in SIMILAR fashion as the console version’s guitar peripheral.
Guitar Hero: On Tour contains a wealth of licensed songs from bands as Nirvana, OK Go, and No Doubt, allowing gamers to rock out to tunes by some of their own guitar heroes. Players are able to pick from six different guitarists to represent them in-game, with secret venues and OUTFITS to unlock. And in addition to a full Mode, the game also has co-op or competitive two-player play, including special “On Tour” CHALLENGES exclusive to the DS game (with power-ups that will send opponents into a frenzied touchscreen autograph session or set their pyrotechnics display to go haywire and require players to blow out the fire.)

Starfighter takes full advantage of the graphic capabilities of PlayStation 2 by presenting than 20 realistic and accurately rendered 3D starships amidst a variety of 14 environments set in air and space. The game sets players on an epic journey that begins on the lush paradise planet of Naboo and continues through the climactic assault on the Droid Control Ship inspired by the motion picture Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace. Players are introduced to the three main fighter pilots through a series of intense flight exercises from each character’s point of view. Regardless of whom they choose, however, gamers will be able to test their battle skills against more than 50 vehicles, including Trade Federation drop ships, battle tanks, droid starfighters and never before seen craft such as the deadly Protector, Scarab, and Dagger
In Thor: Thegame, Thor battles through the numerous worlds of Norse mythology to save Asgard, the of the Norse Gods. Players will wield the iconic Mjölnir, Thor’s legendary hammer, to fight his enemies in this unique DS version of the adventure, played out as a 2D side-scrolling adventure with narrative and gameplay unique to this version of the game.
